82801 Mobile extension set
for NET-Gateway (indoor applications)
Product profile
The NET-Gateway Mobile extension set is a supplement to the NET-Gateway (82800) and not a separate product.
The extension set consists of a 4G lJSB dongle, two USB angle adapters and a SIM card for data traffic.
The 4G USB dongle and the USB angle adapters are supplied by Glutz.
The SIM card must be procured by the customer.
The minimum requirements for the SIM card are:
- Technology: 4G-capable
- Speeds: in download and upload: 0.4 or 0.2 Mbit/s (optimum: 1 or 0.5 Mbit/s)
- PIN: deactivated
- Size: Mini format.
Mobile extension set only works in combination with a NET gateway (82800) and supplements the use cases of the NET gateway in the following situations:
- Networking when no wired or networked infrastructure is available,
- If the existing IT processes relating to networking are difficult to overcome,
- Networking of objects that are moved from one location to another, e.g. construction containers,
- Networking of objects that are located in remote places and can be reached via mobile radio, e.g. transformer stations.
The NET Gateway with the extension set can also be used as a mobile communication tool and is therefore suitable for mobile use.

- The extension set works only in conjunction with the NET gateway (82800) running software v1.4.5 or newer.
- The NET gateway shall be defined in eAccess before the extension set is installed.
- 4G mobile network coverage must be available at the installation Site.
- Glutz supports only extension sets that have been tested and distributed by Glutz.
