Mortice locks
Mortice locks from Glutz provide increased security and convenience. They are suitable for use in simple doors with primary keys, all the way through to high-quality doors that must meet strict requirements, such as emergency-exit and escape-route doors. The locks with panic E and B functions are available in a self-locking version. Existing doors can easily be fitted with Glutz mortice locks without time-consuming installation work. The new 12-piece mortice lock product family, which comes in Swiss and DIN dimensions, features an intelligent construction that allows the DIN orientation to be switched on site during installation.
Depending on the model, the mortice locks are suitable for fire doors and emergency-exit doors, in accordance with EN 179 and EN 1125, and – thanks to the 20-mm deadbolt ejector – for door elements with break-in protection up to Resistance Class 2. As a result, the locks are ideal for schools, commercial buildings, hotels and upmarket residential buildings with high security demands.
