London Showcase for door design - UK

Award winning technology skillfully presented

Architectural Ironmongery specialist Glutz UK opened a dedicated London showroom at the Business Design Centre as a platform for its extensive range of door hardware and access control systems. Popular with architects, interiors specialists and developers across the capital, Glutz systems enable designers to not only realise their aesthetic concepts but also to operate, maintain and secure a development’s door system easily and effectively.

The Glutz Showroom is housed in Islington’s Business Design Centre, located conveniently close to London “Architect District” of Clerkenwell. The BDC is one of London’s most popular conference and exhibition venues within the architectural and interior design community and hosts over 300 events and 500,000 visitors a year. This makes it the perfect showcase for the Glutz range and a perfect meeting place for customers to access Glutz’s award-winning technical and customer service back-up.

The company will held an Open House Week with a number of special events to mark the launch including a special CPD presentation. The CPD, entitled How to Specify Your Design Intent guides architects through the process of fulfilling their design meaning while maintaining a building’s security, accessibility, fire safety and access control functionality.

Glutz is Europe’s leading manufacturer of mechanical and electronic access control products. Established in Switzerland in 1863 the company is famous world-wide for its range of beautifully designed and engineered door handles. But its expertise extends much further than that from master key systems and door and window hardware through to state-of-the-art wireless online and custom access control systems.
