The new football stadium marked the start of the Centre sportif de la Tuilière in the north of Lausanne. According to the architects, the intention is for the structural aspects of the new football stadium to strengthen the home advantage for FC Lausanne. Steep, dense spectator terraces guarantee a great view of the action, topped with a steel roof that acoustically amplifies the sound of the fans’ cheers.
Architectural home advantage
Effective access solutions for large crowds
The rectangular construction impresses with its glass façades and distinctive corners that mark the entrances to the stadium. From a total of 12,000 seats, fans can cheer on their favourite club from close range and feel part of the game. The large crowds, however, require effective access solutions that can efficiently manage and monitor the flow of people. The innovative Glutz eAccess electronic access systems do just that to the highest standard. They can be tailored precisely to the processes at the facility and are easily adaptable, if necessary. They are also made of high-quality and robust materials that can easily withstand even large crowds and intensive usage. They therefore make a significant contribution to the safety and well-being of the players as well as the visitors.
