The cable adapter is suitable for connecting an existing HZ-lock VB cable (14-pin, from year of manufacture 2002) to a MINT HZ ELK or MINT ELK lock (12-pin) and can therefore be used in the event of renovation.
When replacing an HZ-lock VB with a MINT HZ ELK or MINT ELK, it is recommended to replace the cable whenever possible. If this is not possible, this cable adapter can be used between the new lock and the existing cable. The existing cable must be disconnected on site before fitting the adapter (risk of short circuit!). Once the lock has been installed, it must be reconnected on site by a specialist using the MINT ELK connection diagram.
Important note
Before attaching the cable adapter, the existing cable must be disconnected on site (risk of short circuit!).
This cable adapter cannot be used for HZ-lock VB with a 12-pin or 10-pin connection (built before 2002).
