Glutz AG was among the prominent companies affected by the latest wave of attacks carried out by cyber criminals on 28 November. The company was notified of the incident on Monday, 28 November 2022 and immediately informed its employees, suppliers and customers. To protect data, internal IT systems were shut down. Communications via email and telephone have been maintained.
The shutdown of internal IT systems means the business is currently operating with some restrictions. Recovery of the systems is already in progress, with the aim of resuming normal operations as quickly as possible.
In the wake of the cyber incident, data on the Glutz AG systems was encrypted. Glutz AG has informed the security authorities, and external IT forensics experts are examining the systems. Specialists both internal and external are currently working to recover the systems so that we can soon get back to providing our full range of services.
